I don't know what possessed me, but I decided to wear my pioneer dress to church today. I know that next week it will be destroyed on the trek; so I thought I'd at least wear it one time while it still looks nice. Of course, I forgot that we were singing in Sacrament Meeting. So...I had to walk to the front in this get-up. After the meeting, when I was approached by numerous members (all with smiles on their faces), I quickly told them I was "going Mennonite." We had a trek meeting after church today and someone mentioned that we were walking 5-7 miles a day. Hey...I was told it was 5 miles total!! One saving thought...there is supposed to be portapotties stationed at each campsite. I can only pray!!

This may be the reason you are my favorite mother in law!! :):):)
I am so glad I found your blog. Now about the outfit...
... I thought you looked cute. The kids needed ideas and it makes it a lot easier when they see someone else already dressed up. FANTASTIC!

In our family,if we take TV, computer and cell phones away, it is called 'Going Amish'.
I figured you were a walking advertisement for the trek. You look smokin' in the bonnet by the way!
And you are NUTS for going!!!!
My condolances.
