What a wonderful day! It was so nice to see so many people come out to this event. The weather could not have been better.....about 72 degrees! We had delicious Jesse Jones Hot Dogs brought by my buddy Emmitt. I sure have missed working with him at Jesse Jones. The entertainment was great: Trish Miller, Carolina Bluegrass Band, Sapphire....these performers all volunteered their time and talents. The missionaries from my church were a life saver...they helped set up the event and did everything from run the cotton candy machine to coloring with the kids. Most importantly, I got to see up close and personal the generous spirit of the families, staff, and friends who gave so much to make this event happen. I love that my family can be around these incredible folks!
