Way to Go Nicolas!

We were so happy to get a note from Nicolas' teachers telling us of his good deed. He found $5 on the ground near a locker. Nicolas turned the money in to a teacher. Later that day, a student realized her money was missing. She was in tears. When she told her teacher why she was crying, the teacher was able to reassure her that the money had been found and turned in. Just last week, we had a family discussion about "what would you do if....." We talked about that very scenario. I love the gospel! You teach, you pray and hope your kids set their moral compass in the right way, and then a test comes along. I'm grateful that Nicolas had this test. Now he knows the good feeling that comes from doing the right thing and most importantly he got to experience how someone else benefited from his honesty.
