To the Wall

Just when I think I know each of my children through and through one of them surprises me! Katie (aka the "Enforcer") is the child who makes sure all rules are applied fairly. She is quick to mete out judgment. It's a good thing she doesn't sit on any courtroom bench or most folks coming before her would be set to jail without parole! So...back to the story....my daughter in-law Robin was watching the kids when I was with Tabb at the hospital. Katie did something naughty to Melissa (it involved throwing a light bulb). Surprise, surprise....it hit the wall and broke apart. Thankfully Melissa's head was not in the way. I got home around midnight and found the sweet little angel still up. After talking with her about her "not so good" choice I found out that prior to the "meting out of justice", she turned the picture of Jesus to the wall. I suppose she didn't want him to see what she was about to do. More teaching is needed to remind her that "God sees all." I love this picture of her at her baptism when her little soul was clean and pure!! Now we can apply the principles of repentance...more opportunity for learning!
