For all of you Bonanza fans (the old TV western) I went to Virginia City today. It was so cold...probably in the 20's with some snow on the ground. There's an old west town and active mining. We had lunch in an old saloon that has a "suicide table." Apparently some old miners lost their fortune playing poker and killed themselves at the table. Kind of creepy, but interesting. We also went for a walk at "Boot Hill." Really old cemetery with a great view of the sierra's. However, the residents of Boot Hill aren't looking at much these days! Bought some pumpkin fudge ----- yuk!!
