Springtime in Raleigh

I'm a little slack in updating my blog. Finally, I can get outside without sneezing and wheezing! We spent a beautiful day swimming at the YMCA, looking at baby geese, eating burgers at Backyard Burgers Restaurant, attending a Church Primary Activity, and cleaning house. For the past several years, we've been members of the YMCA. It wasn't until today that I found out there was a spa, sauna, and steam room. Need I say more. While the kids swam, I went to the spa. I was all alone....oh what a perfect moment...until some old guy came in the water, sat right next to me (the spa is huge), and said nothing. My radar went off and I hurriedly left the spa. Dog gone it....I finally got a peaceful moment and some senior citizen decides to cozy up to me!!! Wait a minute....I'm staring to look good to the old guys....now I'm totally depressed!!!

Best get busy on tomorrow dinner and my Relief Society lesson. I'm going to replay Jeffrey Holland's talk on the last moments of the Savior's life as well as share some thoughts from a talk on Discipleship by James E. Faust. "One of the greatest blessings of life and eternity is to be counted as one of the devoted disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ."

Your blog is the best & you're absolutely right about the old geezers!! Glad you had at least a little time to yourself.

Love you - thanks for making me laugh today.

I laughed out loud when I read about your "spa experiance"! Don't stay depressed for too long, remember there are a lot of us in our 50's so you're not alone!
