I try to be patient with people who are intolerant. I remind myself that if I become irritated with them or rant or argue, I become just like them.....so, hold me back......
This whole issue on campaign signs being snatched, stomped, and otherwise destroyed in your very own yard has me hot! I watched a neighbor voting for McCain endure the endless disrespect of his lawfully posted campaign sign. No one had "picked on" our sign UNTIL TODAY! Ok...I know the campaign is over. I plan on praying for our new president, respecting him, and doing all I can to model good citizenship. I just left my sign up mostly out of laziness in walking to the end of the lawn to retrieve it! Some doo-wad not only stomped on my sign, they threw it! I'm mad! I'm furious! I'm livid! I'm tired of looking for words to describe my outrage!!!! Come on folks....where's the respect for personal choice. Have your opinion, but leave my opinion alone. Okay...I'm finished...I'm taking a deep breath...and I'm eating a chocolate chip cookie!!!
