I've Done Nothing All Day

Yikes...call the paramedics.....I've done absolutely nothing today. I did take Cory to get his hair cut, went to Melissa's school to bring the homework she forgot, did one load of laundry, ate a bowl full of chinese crunchy noodles (I love those things), and that about sums it up! I can't remember the day when I've been such a slacker. The kids will be home soon. Nicolas asked for me to pick him up from his 1/4 mile away bus stop, but nooo wayyyyyy! "Walking is good for you Nicolas.....not doing anything is good for Mom." So my poor little children trudge wearly from the bus stop while I eat crunchy noodles and avoid cleaning the litter box.

Tonight the neighborhood pool opens. I can quote my children the minute they walk in the door: "what time are we going to the pool?" I'm not sure I'm ready for all of the wet towels, sunscreen, heat, and humidity, but somehow I will suffer through while floating in the pool. I'll wear my geeky hat and sunglasses...just to annoy my kids. We won't talk about my pasty white legs!
