Melissa's 4th grade class went to see the NC Museum of History, the Legislature, and the Museum of Natural Sciences. It really was fun even though there were hundreds of kids! I loved the pirate exhibit. The had on display Blackbeard's skull (there's some debate about that, but still cool). The butterfly house is lots of fun. The boys wouldn't go in, but the girls loved it. We learned all about our legislature. Like typical government, they recently installed a red carpet. No one, not even the President of the United States can walk on it; so everyone walks to the side of it! How crazy is that!!!
