What A Week!

This week has been brutal! I should have known that it would be hard; especially since we had such a nice weekend ...there's always a price to be paid!! Work has been hopping. Last night I didn't get home until after 8 pm. When you work from 5:30 am to 8 pm it's a little hard! Plus (I'm sorry about this next comment)....I keep getting horrendous leg cramps at night. We're talking about the kind of cramps that are so bad that the next day my legs feel like they've been run over by a truck. Back to last night....I walked in the door, exhausted. My oldest son and his wife was at the house. Tabb told me to sit down because he had news; so here it is....

1) Your Mom was taken by ambulance to the hospital. She's home now and you need to call her.
2) Your Sister was taken by ambulance to the hospital. She's home now and you need to call her.
3) Your Sister in-law was taken by ambulance to the hospital and I don't know if she's ok.
4) Tabb says "I'm not feeling well. My blood pressure is up and my lips are tingling.
5) Daniel discusses issues going on with a family we're all close to that has just had a death and serious other issues going on.
6) Brian asks if I have arranged a medical appointment for his hurt wrist.
7) Katie hasn't finished her shadow box due the next morning

After hearing all of that I was ready to run for the hills!!

Now the outcomes: Mom is ok...she was prepping for a colonoscopy and had a reaction to the bowel prep medicine. What's scary is that she has heart issues and a pacemaker. What kind of idiot doctor gives a heart patient with hypertension a hypersaline solution???

My sister....gall bladder attack...maybe....more news to follow.

My sister in-law....this had something to do with her being too close to a collapsing stage and people were running. She passed out and was hurt.

Daniel's story....can't really say, but sad .... wish we could do more to help!

Brian's story....needs to immobilize his hand and wrist and allow the tendons to heal. He should ease up on the weights.

Katie's story....Daddy saved the day and helped her do a spectacular job on her Shadow box.

Tabb....geez.....he's just got to get a handle on the blood pressure thing. The medicine is not doing the job! It wouldn't hurt if he would cut down on the krispy kreme.

And me.....calgon take me away!!

Whew! I so glad to hear your family is ok!

While reading about your mom, I, too, was thinking "What kind of idiot doctor gives a heart patient with hypertension a hypersaline solution???" Really? A hypersaline solution? Geez....

(I'm totally kidding! I have no idea what that is!)

I was watching John and Kate Plus 8when I got up and passed out! I didn't realize how TV can have an impression on you. Don't watch the show! I am doing fine.

Much Love, Carolyn
